About The Position

The Manufacturing Product Manager oversees operations within a specific product line, ensuring compliance with procedures and processes while meeting throughput and sales goals. This role establishes a production cell for the THAAD line from material receipt to final inspection, ensuring quality, productivity, cost objectives, and safety standards are met. The position requires strong leadership, process management, and collaboration across a matrix environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or 5–7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Ability to thrive in fast-changing priorities and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong project management skills and experience in Lean Manufacturing and cell leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing planning tools.
• Analytical, improvement-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to mentor and develop others.
• Business acumen and ability to deliver results in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive production ramp-up to 4x current volume through risk management, capacity planning, and process improvements.
• Plan, organize, and supervise operations to meet production schedules cost-effectively.
• Ensure compliance with process controls, operating instructions, and quality standards.
• Achieve throughput, earned hours, and budget targets for sales, profit, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Lead and develop teams through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Maintain effective employee relations and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage staffing levels to meet production requirements.
• Oversee annual budgeting and submit capital equipment requests as needed.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with legal and company standards.
• Collaborate with peers across manufacturing, planning, materials, and quality functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
