We are looking for a Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations, serve as a primary customer liaison, and drive plant performance through strong leadership, planning, and accountability. What You’ll Do As Production Manager, you will oversee production operations to ensure outstanding customer service while meeting plant efficiency, safety, quality, and environmental standards. · Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction through proactive communication and reliable execution · Plan, schedule, and coordinate plant production activities—including shipping and receiving—to meet customer needs without compromising efficiency · Translate customer requirements into executable production plans · Support and embody the company’s Mission and Values in daily operations · Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards · Collaborate with plant leadership to maintain safety, quality, and environmental compliance · Lead and develop a high-performing production team focused on safety and key performance indicators (KPIs) · Participate in and at times lead problem-solving efforts to improve production performance and reduce inefficiencies · Analyze KPIs and present findings, trends, and improvement strategies during operational meetings · Coach, mentor, and guide team leads and supervisors to promote safe, efficient, and consistent operations · Participate in employee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development at all levels of production · Support fair and consistent performance evaluations and disciplinary actions · Foster a culture of accountability, respect, teamwork, and employee engagement · Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing operations
  • Prior leadership experience in a production or operations role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Highly motivated, results-driven leader with a positive, collaborative approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers

Nice To Haves

  • AS400 experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and quality systems such as TS16949 and ISO 14001 preferred

Responsibilities
