About The Position

You will be the Production Machinery Maintenance Engineer - Level 5 for the Facilities and Plant Engineering team which is responsible for coordinating labor, overhead, and capital investments in key production machinery. As the Production Machinery Maintenance Engineer - Level 5 you will be responsible for driving reliability, efficiency, and continuous‑improvement initiatives across the plant’s equipment base.

Requirements

  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication and the maintenance of critical machinery supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in Total Manufacturing Practices (TMP), failure and root cause analysis and training.
  • Experience in planning/scheduling of predictive and preventative maintenance and working with Manufacturing on corrective and emergency maintenance.
  • Experience analyzing metrics, machinery uptime and performance.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or Fabrication Leadership in a classified or export controlled environment.
  • Reliability Engineering and/or Machinery Maintenance leadership.
  • Experience in working with Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Cost Accounting Managers (CAM), particularly regarding eCARDS.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute predictive, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance to maximize machine uptime and protect production windows.
  • Conduct operator failure and root‑cause analyses, develop training, and translate findings into actionable improvement plans.
  • Implement Total Manufacturing Practices such as Clean As You Go (CAYGO) and convert them into verifiable eCards in partnership with Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Collaborate with Planning & Integration to deploy, maintain, and analyze FORCAM and other machinery‑analytics tools.
  • Coordinate with F&PE, Production Operations, and Quality leadership to align labor, overhead, and capital investments with strategic manufacturing goals.
