About The Position

Leads, guides, coordinates, supervises a team that may comprise Working Supervisor, Team Leaders, Journey level workers, Trainees, Helpers, and subcontracted labor. Reports to General Supervisor I, General Supervisor II, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, or SOC Management. Interacts vertically and horizontally within own organization, other trades and company. Has contact with customers and vendors. Supervises Working Supervisor, Team Leaders, Journey level workers, Trainees and Helpers.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and schedules team activities.
  • Evaluates team performance.
  • Identifies problem areas and initiates corrective action.
  • Adhere to schedule objectives, cost and quality.
  • Monitors performance to safety policies.
  • Coordinates production with other production supervisors, trades, quality assurance and management.
  • Complies with organization and company administrative procedures.
  • Reviews documentation and identifies deficiencies and potential problems.
  • Technical expertise and experience for specific trade.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
  • Actively participates in implementing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, improve quality, reduce cycle time, and reduce costs.
