Job Title: Machinery Equipment Engineer II Job Profile: Machinery and Equipment Engineer Job Family: General Research and Development Location/ Division/ specific information: San Jose, CA/ Great Oaks/ P02 How will you make an impact? - Support production equipment, develop maintenance plans and downtime metrics, as well as maintain machinery in its original condition, manage spare parts inventory, and document training sessions.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required
2- 5+ years prior work experience in SMT and Backend Equipment is required
Understanding of safety practices requirements.
Personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word and PowerPoint and e-mail).
Electric, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of SMT processes, equipment operation, and common defects

Nice To Haves

5- 8 Years of experience work in SMT and Backend Equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor SMT line performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and yield.
Applies substantial understanding of the job, knowledge and skill to complete a wide range of tasks. Receives little work instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
Calibrate equipment using general and special tools.
Maintain sufficient data to develop maintenance process improvement initiatives.
May assist in the development of work procedures.
May maintain and store backup information for all critical production equipment software systems.
Provide technical support to production operators, offering guidance and training on SMT equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Keep spare parts inventory according to the machine's usage.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
