Requirements

  • 3+ of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Front Line people Leadership
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong Data Driven core, with a proven ability to communicate performance, quality, safety, and overall process efficiency and inspire shop floor employees to succeed
  • Ability to self-motivate, work autonomously and proactively
  • Availability to work flexible hours and overtime including nights and weekends, when necessary
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Experience in manufacturing concrete and concrete products
  • Experience with concrete manufacturing equipment: Masa, Hess, Omag, Columbia, Rekers and Besser etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft tools

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated manufacturing equipment to meet production goals
  • Produce assigned products with verbal and written instructions
  • Complete equipment set-up procedures and preventative maintenance
  • Use tools and measuring devices to maintain, adjust and repair equipment
  • Accurately prepare all necessary production and maintenance reports daily
  • Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools
  • Complete minor repairs on equipment and refers issues to maintenance to avoid production delays
  • Follow established guidelines on policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Communicate any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to relieving operators and shift managers as part of the shift change procedure
