Production Line Lead (2nd/3rd Shifts)
About The Position

At kdc/one, we make beauty and personal care products for the world's most popular brands and we're looking for a Production Line Leader who can keep things running smoothly and safely. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, love working with a team, and know how a production line functions, we want to meet you! As our Production Line Leader, you'll oversee day-to-day operations across the filling and packaging line. You'll train, guide, encourage, and work with your team to keep quality high, schedules on track, and production standards sharp.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of manufacturing or production experience, OR 2 years of supervisory experience
- Familiarity with FDA cGMPs, OSHA safety, SOPs, SAP, and HMI systems
- Ability to multitask, solve problems, and get things done even on tight deadlines
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling
- Work in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise
- Frequent interaction with motorized equipment (forklifts, electrical pallet jacks, etc.)
- Standard PPE requirements (hairnet, safety glasses, lab coat, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Lead production employees to meet shift goals with consistency and quality
- Train team members on SOPs, WIs, good housekeeping, and safety protocols
- Track scrap with precision and make sure it's disposed of correctly and properly
- Record production documentation and finished goods in SAP
- Perform ongoing quality checks, appearance, torque, and weight
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional departments on projects and changeovers
- Jump into investigations of failures or deviations and help uncover starting causes
- Keep your line and your crew tidy, compliant, and always ready
- Promote safety and lead by example in adherence to OSHA, GMP, and company policies
- Be a strong communicator and a trusted team leader across your shifts
