About The Position

PURPOSE OF POSITION The production line lead will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily production activities of a production line. This key position with the production team will ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior work experience and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required
Strong communication skills.
Must be able to use a tape measure accurately.
Must be able to operate a computer.
Must be able to utilize BPCS to order material and return stock.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff.
Load rolls of chipboard on machine ensuring continuous supply of material
Keep accurate records of hourly production numbers and scrap
Inspect filters and filter packaging at various stages of production, making corrections as necessary.
Assist with providing raw materials to the production line to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing.
Sets up line for the filter manufacturing.
Performs other duties as assigned by management to support production goals
Assist the supervisor in monitoring employee performance to ensure product quality aligns with company specifications
Ensure that all employees follow safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Responsible for production and packaging of products, ensuring they meet quality standards
Conduct regular checks on production processes and report any discrepancies to supervisor
Collaborate and lead team members to foster a positive and productive environment
