About The Position

OVERVIEW: The Production Team Lead is responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations progress smoothly. They directly supervise and mentor production associates in day-to-day operations and recommend improvements in production methods and procedures. The team lead ensures department compliance with company policies and procedures, and Federal, State, and Local regulations. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Lead team members by providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice. Ensure all proper Safety and production procedures are followed. Trouble shoot equipment and provide guidance to meet company standards on quality and performance. Encourage and demonstrate dedicated teamwork and supportive attitudes between team members and other departments. Ensure standards for the department meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards. Find, investigate, and resolve any quality or production issues encountered in the department. Ensure production schedule is maintained and communicate with interrelated departments if off-track. Help team members by coaching and training them in accordance with company guidelines. Help to maintain the organization’s lean and continuous improvement methodology by identifying and removing waste in the process. Perform inspections and conduct routine audits of work areas for compliance to safety, sanitation, and quality requirements. Any other duties assigned by management. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing/production environment required
  • Leadership experience preferred
