About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Production Lead for the 1st shift. The position starts at $24 per hour. The Production Lead will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members to achieve business results, coordinating activities with various departments, supporting team members on the production floor, and maintaining an engaged and team-oriented workforce. This role also involves providing support to company policies and procedures, promoting cooperation, providing training, monitoring and enforcing adherence to GMPs and specifications, and maintaining high levels of sanitation, housekeeping, and product quality.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazarded Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs.
Must be able to motivate a diverse workforce and lead by example.
Must be able to coach, train, and take corrective action, including discipline, when appropriate.
Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and possess a problem-solving mentality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good math skills.

Nice To Haves

SQF, GMP, and HACCP certification a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
