About The Position

JBS is seeking an hourly Production Lead for the 2nd shift. This role involves leading a team of hourly team members to achieve business results safely and efficiently. The Production Lead coordinates activities with production, procurement, maintenance, warehouse, and quality departments to achieve and sustain results. They support team members by maintaining a visible presence on the production floor and fostering an engaged, team-oriented workforce. The position also provides support to company policies and procedures, creating an environment of concern and consistency, promoting cooperation and superior workmanship, providing training on company policies and job duties, monitoring and enforcing adherence to GMPs and specifications, maintaining high levels of sanitation, housekeeping, and product quality, following daily work schedules, and encouraging efficient use of energy and resources with minimal waste. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazarded Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs.
Must be able to motivate a diverse workforce and lead by example.
Must be able to coach, train, and take corrective action, including discipline, when appropriate.
Must demonstrate critical thinking skills and possess a problem-solving mentality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good math skills.

Nice To Haves

SQF, GMP, and HACCP certification a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
