About The Position

The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production operations and ensuring efficient execution across multiple production lines. This role acts as a key liaison between production staff, maintenance, sanitation, and management, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met.

Requirements

Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
Strong leadership and team coordination skills in a production environment
Ability to read and interpret production documentation such as BOMs and batch records
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

Stand-up forklift certification
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of approximately 12 employees across 3 production teams
Learn and operate production machinery to support line efficiency and troubleshooting
Create and manage labels and placards for items running on production lines
Review and interpret production bills of materials (BOMs) to identify discrepancies in quantities or lot numbers
Monitor and follow up on production reports, including output (pounds produced) and downtime tracking
Report any production delays or operational issues to the Production Supervisor or Production Manager
Coordinate with Sanitation and Maintenance teams to ensure timely changeovers between production runs
Collect and track product samples during production runs
Review batch records and QA inspection forms to ensure accuracy and completeness
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and production protocols
