After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week. As a Production Intern in Boston, you will shadow production managers at all venue levels—from clubs and theaters to arenas and stadiums. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the entire process, from the first call to advance show details through load-in, doors, show time, and load-out. This position requires flexibility. Interns must be willing to work nights and weekends, as show days can be long—often 10 hours in clubs and up to 16 hours in arenas. While it’s not required to work every hour, the benefit of experiencing a show from start to finish is best achieved when you can manage those extended hours. This internship offers a hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced concert production environment.
