About The Position
The POC Production Counter is a line associate packaging and processing orders utilizing packaging equipment and/or display lines in a manner that meets company standards for safety, quality, productivity and accuracy.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Team oriented
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills with strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and verification.
- Good communication both written and verbal
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Keep pace on the production line
Responsibilities
- Follow directions from line leader
- Ability to inspect products and identify issues while packing
- Pack products according to schematics or instructions
- Verify items are packed correctly and correct amount is used
- Wear all required safety PPE
- Follows good manufacturing practices and required work-safe practices
- Interact with and work well with others in various fast changing environments and situations
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Able to load product into basic equipment (Bagger/L-Sealer and Alloyd blister card machine)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
