About The Position

Purpose of position: To monitor and communicate the progress of work orders that are pending release to production. To ensure all work racks have been inventoried and are 95% complete before being released to production.

  • Must have intermediate to advanced Microsoft computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn and be proficient in company-specific software.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. regularly and more, with assistance occasionally
  • Must regularly be able to reach overhead
  • Must be able to stand, walk, reach overhead, squat, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs as needed.
  • Must be able to walk around regularly using steps occasionally
  • Ability to provide verification of US citizenship or permanent residency to satisfy ITAR/EAR restrictions.
  • At least 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience is required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and or MRO environment is a plus.
  • Intermediate Computer experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Organize priority parts for IHR in all different areas with help of local suppliers.
  • Coordinates parts movements with inventory, procurement, and production until the build rack is released to production.
  • Responsible for updating Aerotrac reports, and work in progress (WIP)
  • Performs an inventory on all work racks after inspection is completed.
  • Verifies inventory and ensures all scrap on work racks has been entered in the inspection workbench.
  • Monitors outstanding parts on assigned orders and communicates shortages as needed.
  • Recommends part exchanges for parts not making the build date.
  • Maintains a close working relationship with Logistics, Production, and Sales.
  • Works closely with Inventory and IOC Leads and Logistics Manager and attends departmental meetings.
  • Maintains a clean/safe workspace free from spills or obstructions which may lead to harm.
  • Travels as required to support business needs.
  • Confers with manager/lead to recommend changes such as equipment utilization, production methods and procedures to increase the efficiency of the department and promote improvement.
  • Attends all safety and health training, as required, in a timely manner.
  • Works when scheduled and complies with company attendance policy.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Observes and practices all safety procedures and personal policies (e.g. Safety-glasses, ear plugs, face shields etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.
