Position Purpose The Production Coordinator will take charge of overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production line and our production teams. This crucial role involves managing production schedules, coordinating team activities, ensuring compliance with safety & quality standards, and driving process improvements to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in production leadership.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Proven experience in process improvement and production optimization techniques.
Solid understanding of quality control principles and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using production and inventory management software.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience or familiarity in manufacturing of smoking products in PREFERRED.

Responsibilities

Production Oversight: Manage and coordinate production activities to meet weekly and monthly targets, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.
Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality checks to ensure product standards are met consistently and drive initiatives for continuous quality improvement.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to enhance performance and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate production inefficiencies by analysing workflows and implementing innovative solutions for process improvements.
Safety Management: Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimise waste and reduce production downtime.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Logistics to optimise production operations.
