About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Production Coordinator to support daily production operations and ensure accuracy in manufacturing orders and inventory processes. This role plays a critical part in keeping production running smoothly and offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and planning teams. This position will also assist with the accuracy of raw materials, finished goods, and label inventories. Early shift: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM Ideal for individuals who prefer an early start and afternoon flexibility Weekend availability as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the food industry. Manufacturing experience and familiarity with production environments. Strong expertise in supply chain management and inventory control.
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel, Word, Outlook; Inventory Management System experience, preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare daily manufacturing orders (MOs) for Production, Starch, BBQ, and Mustard departments across all shifts
  • Support Production Supervisors with MO reconciliation and “needs” planning
  • Partner with the Master Scheduler to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment
  • Attend daily meetings and provide updates on MO status and issues
  • Ensure accuracy of raw materials, finished goods, and label inventory
  • Troubleshoot and resolve inventory and reconciliation discrepancies
  • Participate in monthly physical inventory processes
  • Assist with tracking, organizing, and archiving manufacturing orders
  • Communicate issues impacting planning, operations, customer service, and inventory
  • Support the Logistics Manager with inventory and shipping-related challenges
  • Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Develop and improve processes for tracking and maintaining manufacturing orders
  • Adapt quickly to changes in production schedules and business demands
  • Engage directly on the production floor to support operations and gain real-time insights
