About The Position

The Production Coordinator supports plant operations by driving training initiatives, maintaining safety and documentation standards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are properly trained, compliance requirements are met, and plant systems run efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate plant training programs, including new hire orientation
  • Assist in developing and maintaining training plans and skills matrices for support teams (Maintenance, Process, Tooling, Materials)
  • Track and manage required plant training (PIT, Champion Training, TOPPAN University, CPR/First Aid/AED, etc.)
  • Lead or support Continuous Sustainable Development (CSD) Pillar team initiatives
  • Create, maintain, and update WKIs, JSAs, HECPs, and other safety/training documentation
  • Serve as backup for the Safety Coordinator when needed
  • Utilize Intelex to enter, track, and analyze safety and training data
  • Maintain OSHA logs, including recording workplace injuries (300 log)
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Assist with contractor onboarding, plant tours, and safety orientation
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid/AED certification records
  • Participate in audits (5S, DTM, HACCP, SMETA, FSC2000, etc.)
  • Maintain working knowledge across multiple plant functions
  • Support additional duties as needed
