This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Requirements

  • 0-2+ years of professional manufacturing experience in production or manufacturing planning and scheduling or operations
  • 0-2+ years of practical experience with ERP/MRP systems in production environment
  • Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project)
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy, high growth multifaceted environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, as well as overtime, when necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing or production environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain management, or similar field
  • Experience establishing new schedules and performing complete overhauls/replans of existing schedules
  • Experience leveraging existing data sets to provide analytics insight
  • Experience in aerospace research and development and manufacturing environments
  • Proven record of hands-on development and implementation of company-wide process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Track, maintain, and communicate dynamic schedules.
  • Monitor and update schedules throughout the day.
  • Clearly communicate job statuses and schedule updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide tactical and strategic scheduling expertise.
  • Coordinate initial staging of materials and kits.
  • Participate in capacity planning and forecast work center demands.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to assess and address schedule impacts.
  • Interface with program and operations teams to report progress and risks.
  • Identify and address constraints in the production flow.
  • Manage work order life cycle from creation to completion.
  • Support accurate movement and tracking of work and materials.
  • Maintain inventory levels to support production needs.
  • Foster collaboration across value streams like supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering.
  • Utilize planning insights to eliminate blockers and streamline processes.
  • Implement push/pull methods to improve lead times and ensure compliance.
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance the processes.
