About The Position

ATI is looking for a Production Control Specialist to support our Specialty
Materials Business Unit. This position will be located in Monroe, NC.

As a Production Control Specialist, you will direct and coordinate activities of
individuals in cross-functional areas (Manufacturing, Quality, Labs, Shipping,
Technology, Planning and Sales) to support ATI Specialty Materials revenue plan
and on-time performance objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related discipline or In lieu of a degree, 4 years of related work experience
• 3 years of experience in production control
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

• Oracle ERP experience
• Metals Manufacturing Industry experience

Responsibilities

• Reprocess batches to support manufacturing.
• Establishes work priorities for manufacturing, lab and quality areas.
• Resolves product deviations between sales and operations to ensure shipment of product.
• Provides support to all involved departments to streamline processes.
• Chairs production meetings with cross-functional participants.
• Ensures critical orders remain on schedule to meet customer demands.
• Provides communication between sales, quality, technical and operations.
• Maintains shipment reports for all levels of management.
