About The Position

The Production Control Specialist will coordinate the activities and processes pertaining to the change process as directed by the customer’s requirement. He/she will develop, control, and communicate past history and future anticipation of current part changes.

Requirements

  • 4 Year University degree and/or comparable background of work related experience in facilitation.
  • Four (4) or more years of progressively responsible experience, including production control and use of production systems
  • Must be able to identify and report nonconforming materials and processes.
  • Proficient in Creating Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, Word, ERP etc
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred bilingual due to communicate Mando Korea/China, and Data preparation and response in Korea. Bilingual (Korea / English)

Responsibilities

  • Shipping planning (SPO/Abroad Mando)
  • Assure accurate and timely communication with external and internal customers. This is to be an effective combination of verbal, written, and computer based communication.
  • Represent Mando in a positive manner through professional and courteous communication with customers.
  • Plan and track all outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery, and utilization of the designated and/or most cost effective method of shipment.
  • Communicate and work with customers to resolve any delivery concerns in an urgent, prompt manner.
  • Validate that all shipping related transactions and documents match actual shipping performance, and is completed both accurately and timely in order to meet internal and external expectations.
  • Work closely with team to coordinate resources and prioritize tasks. This is to be accomplished with optimum utilization of resources while meeting customer needs and expectations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through active promotion of Mando Quality Policy. Assure that all prescribed records and documents are properly completed and maintained. Review performance and provide corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Control expenses associated with expedites and detention fees.
  • Assist with production scheduling in order to optimize efficiencies from planning to final product.
  • Proactively monitor AR issues, implement improvements, and collaborate with customers to resolve issues.
  • KPI Management
  • Maintain Plant KPI (Ex: Productivity etc) data
  • Analyze KPIs and Prepare improvement plan
  • Prepare weekly and monthly report
  • Report MCA KPIs to HQ and respond HQs request
  • Interact with relevant teams to keep higher KPIs
  • Planning and managing Capex, Expense, Headcount in Plant
  • Inventory Management.
  • Set up proper inventory level for each part
  • Maintain 100% Inventory accuracy b/t actual and system(SAP, SCL)
  • Analysis inventory movement in system
  • Slow moving inventory management
  • EO / New Program management.
  • Lead EO/4M changes with cross functional teams
  • Minimize obsolescent inventory cost
  • Comply with all HL Mando EHS policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • Support a safe working environment in brake and suspension manufacturing areas by following established safety rules and standard work practices.
  • Ensure proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering production, warehouse, or shipping areas.(Steel Shoes and Protective eye wear)
  • Identify, report, and assist in the resolution of unsafe conditions, near misses, incidents, or injuries in coordination with EHS and management.
  • Participate in required EHS training, safety meetings, audits, and emergency response drills.
  • Support EHS initiatives related to continuous improvement, risk reduction, ergonomics, and compliance with ISO/IATF and customer safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely EHS-related documentation and records as required for audits and compliance.
  • Comply with all company HR policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
  • Support HR initiatives related to attendance, timekeeping, training compliance, and workplace standards.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with team members, supervisors, customers, and cross-functional departments.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment aligned with HL Mando values.
  • Participate in required HR training, including ethics, harassment prevention, and compliance training.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee, customer, and company information at all times.
  • Support management and HR with documentation, reporting, and coordination as required within the scope of the position.
