About The Position
Candidate will plan, schedule, and optimize the flow of production
Requirements
- Scheduler with Lean Manufacturing experience such as; material/product pull systems, line balancing techniques, and time study experience.
- Must also have strong problem solving and kaizen abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelorâs degree or at least four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Supports new products preparation activities
- Supports balance out activities
- Issue and maintain kanbans
- Calculate requirements and issue Production and Heijunka schedule.
- Report manufacturing status by assembly line
- Provide maintenance to the weekly production schedule
- Provide backup the receiving and shipping functions, as needed
- Receive and input the customer orders and forecasts in the system
- Customer Relations including calls, emails, surveys, customer portals, etc.
- ECI Management
- Cycle Counts
- Negative Inventory Investigation and Correction
- Customer Scorecards
- Back Order Investigation
