We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control, Semiconductor Planner that will provide support to the RFT Microelectronics Area. This role plays a critical part in aligning material availability with production requirements to ensure seamless execution of factory goals. The ideal candidate will operate across multiple shop floor and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems, work closely with all operations stakeholders while leveraging factory performance metrics to maintain system integrity and precision support to our customers.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in production control, materials management or related manufacturing role.
  • Experience in production Control, planning or supply chain experience in a fast paced Semiconductor or Electronics Manufacturing environment

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Own the semiconductor factory On Time Delivery Meeting and Reporting
  • Support and Develop shop floor kitting release plan to align with MRP and Operation outlooks
  • Monitor and report bi-weekly changes to demand forecasts
  • Manage Wafer Start and Kitting release schedule to maintain shop floor execution
  • Provide production floor support including floor material staging, monitoring Work in Progress (WIP) movement, transacting of the completion of units within the shop floor MES and MRP systems and support of delivery to next higher assembly area (inventory and shipment).
  • Collaborate within the cross functional matrix organization including interactions with engineering, purchasing, logistics and quality.
  • Provide Daily and Weekly status reports of work in progress, cycle time, material availability.
  • Work with the team to identify and overcome production hurdles to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Back up support of the RFT MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) and Equipment Spares Inventory Area, issuing material, helping with cycling counting and procurement of inventory.
