About The Position

Kalmbach’s objective for our Control Room Operator is a person who can work hard to learn our automated systems in a way to keep our team members safe, own quality of our superior feeds, and to work hard with other team members to delight our customers.

Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Evidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Nice To Haves

Agriculture (livestock/grain feed) industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of FSMA’s Qualified Individual requirement and General Food Safety Plans is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate our automated pelleting system in a way that prioritizes safety and quality
To work directly with Kalmbach’s pelleting system to ensure consistent superior feeds are delivered to our customers
To become subject experts on the pelleting system with detailed knowledge in process flow and preform preventative greasing and adjustments to help keep our systems running efficiently
To work directly with team members across the company and departments to ensure that all policies and protocols are supported in our operations
Document daily operations in a manor to support Kalmbach’s document procedures
Strive to keep correct and accurate inventories of ingredients, parts, and orders.
Work along side other team members to complete needed tasks to keep our facilities clean and in the best operational order.
