Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years Production Control, Planning, or Supply Chain experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, complex, machine shop environment.
  • Experience with ERP, MES, and Advanced Planning systems. Infor experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven expertise in Excel
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • APICS or CPIM certification preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain appropriate safety stock inputs and job order minimums to improve efficiency and avoid stockouts.
  • Generate and analyze monthly forecasting models using demand patterns and historical data via Advanced Planning ERP systems.
  • Coordinate expediting of job orders.
  • Perform job order status updates for Sales and Customer Service teams.
  • Back-up the creation of the Master Production Schedule and identify issues to ensure on time shipping.
  • Produce paperwork needed for the creation of finished goods.
  • Participates in production meetings. Other duties as assigned.
