The role involves resolving production or Depot issues to ensure the availability of personnel, equipment, materials, and services, and managing and analyzing Bills of Materials (BOM) of moderate complexity within an MRP system. The analyst will confirm material supply and demand, prepare necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements, summarize inventory shortage impacts for assemblies and end items released to the production floor, and provide weekly "can-build" and constraint reports during Line of Balance meetings. They will also propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage due to material order slips, coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering teams, schedule and expedite the movement of parts using move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests, and interface with various internal customers and DCMA representatives.
