The NC Department of Revenue is in search of a Production Control Analyst. This position will report to the IT Operations Manager and provide operational support for the department's infrastructure. The role involves maintaining the z/OS (MVS) Mainframe and CA schedules, ensuring jobs are reset and running in the required sequence, and setting up and scheduling production jobs. This position is eligible to telework full time after training. The schedule is 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional schedule adjustments are made as needed to support business needs. Requirements

3 years of experience working in z/OS mainframe using MVS Operating Systems, TSO, and JES2
Experience using job scheduling tools
Ability to read, understand and edit JCL
Experience using CA Workload Control Center
Experience using Zeke

Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor the z/OS (MVS) Mainframe and CA schedules.
Set up and schedule production jobs on the z/OS (MVS) Mainframe and CA.
Read, understand, and edit JCL.
Interact with customers, technicians, analysts, and specialists to troubleshoot problems.
Identify trends through troubleshooting and recommend future resolutions.
