Who you are: As a Production Analyst Frost, you are our troubleshooter. In this role, you will use your effective communication and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve job abends. By turning data into insights, you will help us improve production procedures that impact lines of business and customer relationships. More than that, this role is about constant improvement and doing so with our signature all-win approach in mind.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in mainframe operations, job scheduling, or a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of change control processes and tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, and Change Management systems
  • Ability to recognize and resolve potential issues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills, fluency in JCL, and attention to detail
  • Possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve job abends, including determining restart points, file cleanups, and necessary adjustments to file allocations or dispositions
  • Understand file structures, file types, space allocations, and how to create and manage generation data sets
  • Proficient in navigating tools like TSO, CICS, Roscoe, and mainframe scheduling systems, including handling complex job schedules and executing utilities for problem resolution
  • Familiarity with change control processes and tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, mainframe console operations, and directing lower-level operators in tasks
  • Ability to multitask, improve documentation and processes, cover shifts when needed, attend meetings, and remain on call 24/7 for problem resolution
