About The Position

Honeyville is looking for a Production Analyst Clerk to join our team in Ogden! This position is responsible for managing reports and inventories related to production work orders. They will be working closely with cross-divisional departments such as Operations, Warehouse, and Finance to support accurate financial and inventory data. We are looking for someone who is a problem solver with strategic and analytical thinking. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager

Requirements

  • Experience in production management and manufacturing.
  • Computer skills using Microsoft Office, Data Bases, Excel, previous ERP systems experience.
  • Analytical skills and knowledge of financial analytic tools.
  • Strong financial acumen and cost accounting.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to build strong relationships with internal departments.
  • Demonstrates a critical mindset towards appropriately questioning and analyzing alternatives to resolve data and financial issues.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated desire to improve processes within scope of responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years of inventory management experience and or training
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and spreadsheet software.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a lot-based manufacturing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Control and parts clerk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Post and monitor production inventory daily into ERP system, related to production work orders.
  • Reconcile all Production work orders at the end of runs.
  • Utilize ERP tasks/reports before closing work orders, daily and weekly.
  • Report high dollar variances to supervisor and accounting
  • Reconcile physical inventories, at the end of runs, to ensure accurate material usage.
  • Closing production work orders after inventories are verified and corrected if needed.
  • Month end close outs. This includes all previous month’s production is posted to proper month. All work orders are completed and closed at month end to ensure no overlap.
  • Coordinate with the production planner at end of each month to ensure all of production receive new work orders for the beginning of each month.
  • Update and communicate reports daily and weekly.
  • Apply system and workflow skills, optimizing speed to market capability and reduce non-value-added activities..
  • Resolve problems by applying logic and common sense, while ensuring internal stakeholders and customer’s timelines are met.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining production metrics for pricing and inventory.
  • Review pricing and costing with manager.
  • Perform assignments and directives provided by leadership.
  • Additional assignments and directives provided by leadership.
  • Self-motivated desire to continuously improve processes within scope of responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates solid business acumen for inventory processes.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines Standards of performance (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP’s), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
