Short-Term Product Technician
About The Position
Short-Term Product Technician: This is a short-term position (4-6-week scope) located in Westminster, SC working 7:00AM-3:30PM. Pay Rate is $17.00/hr. Competitive benefits are offered through ETCON Employment Solutions at the time of hire. This position requires gauging & visual verifications in order to keep the lines up and running to their fullest extent. Parts will be placed in a jig while being monitored, once brushing is complete, associate will turn the valve 360 degrees, 2 rotations and complete a visual inspection of each part. Once per hour parts need to be taken to the lab for quality checks. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mainly this role will be polishing tip ends on various valves and inspecting parts. If someone was doing well and wanted to convert to a full time USEV role, it would need to be on 2nd or 3rd shift running a production line.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Work Keys or WIN Credentials will be considered
Nice To Haves
- Prefer previous manufacturing experience
Responsibilities
- Operates production equipment according to guidelines and in a safe manner.
- Performs set-ups and light maintenance of equipment. Troubleshoot equipment when required. LOTO & SAFETY is Priority 1!
- Completes production documentation (first piece approvals, tagging, scrap tickets, etc.) accurately and neatly.
- Use specified gauges to ensure proper product tolerances.
