THE GROWTH YOU HELP PROVIDE AS A PRODUCT SPECIALIST As a Product Specialist, you'll kickstart your day by diving into products, mastering their features and benefits to tailor personalized customer demonstrations for key producers in your AOR. Whether organizing customer training activities, hosting open houses, or assisting with critical machine operations, your role is pivotal in building dealer credibility and driving sales growth. Your passion for helping customers optimize machine usage and efficiency shines through as you conduct product training, analyze growth plans, and stay ahead of competitor offerings to maintain company competitiveness. With a keen eye on customer needs and a willingness to travel, you'll establish professional connections, support trade shows, and collaborate with Product Specialists across North America to elevate the company's market presence.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and math skills, knowledge of current agricultural issues, and outstanding negotiating skills
  • Competency in computerized sales tools and reports
  • Willingness to travel, occasionally overnight, to all locations to provide support and training
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Ability to support company participation in trade shows and develop professional customer and specialist relationships
  • Ability to safely operate equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and squat for extended periods and lift 40 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Agriculture
  • Familiarity with John Deere equipment, specifically combines and planters
  • Technical background
