As a Product Owner II PNC's Enterprise Data Governance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh-PA, Cleveland-OH, Dallas-TX or Birmingham-AL. It provides guidance to concentrate the Scrum Team(s) effort on correct priorities based on business value, defining and conveying the vision to the team(s) to address client requirements and meet business objectives. The Product Owner II is accountable for the creation and integrity of the product backlog, prioritizing and leading its grooming. They work in partnership with the Scrum Master(s) to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog and serve as the primary point of contact for team questions. They accept, review, and validate working product from the Scrum Teams(s) and socialize the delivery of business value and outcomes of the iteration to various stakeholders. PNC Employees are expected to be Customer Focused, knowledgeable of values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations, and skilled in Managing Risk by assessing and effectively managing all risks associated with business objectives and activities to ensure adherence to PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and value delivery for PNC’s enterprise Data Quality products (e.g., Data Quality Dashboard, RulesBased DQ, and Data Quality Pattern Recognition/DQPR).
  • Serve as the voice of customers and stakeholders across Data, Risk, Technology, and Governance to ensure capabilities meet enterprise risk, governance, and business needs.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog; define clear outcomes, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
  • Partner with Scrum teams and technical owners to ensure delivery aligns to intent, balancing risk, value, and delivery constraints.
  • Shift the organization from manual data checks toward sustained, scalable data quality capability management and continuous maturity improvements.
  • Own the vision and the definition of the product.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer.
  • Provide guidance to concentrate the Scrum Team(s) effort on correct priorities based on business value.
  • Define and convey the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to meet business objectives.
  • Be accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog.
  • Prioritize and lead grooming of the product backlog.
  • Work in partnership with the Scrum Master(s) to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for questions from the team(s).
  • Accept delivery of working product from the Scrum Teams(s).
  • Review and validate Scrum Team(s) working product.
