About The Position

As a Product Marketing Manager at Aventon, you’re the product marketing expert at the core of the Aventon narrative. Positioned at the intersection of Product, Creative, and Brand Strategy, you will collaborate directly with the Brand Director to steer the future of our award-winning lineup. This is arguably the most influential seat in the house, where raw engineering transforms into a compelling lifestyle brand.

Responsibilities

  • Own Product Positioning & Messaging
  • Work with US and EU brand directors to build and maintain product positioning docs & copy banks per model; localize for EU and U.S. nuances.
  • Work with the US and overseas product teams to interpret and build real-world / authentic product positioning docs.
  • Craft Launch & Lifecycle Plans
  • Define objectives, target segments, headlines, launch KPIs that align with brand marketing, product and sales calendars.
  • Lead Cross-functional GTM Readiness
  • Lead weekly GTM and Launch Readiness stand-ups (sample bikes → content shoots → creative materials).
  • Develop Sales & Dealer Enablement
  • Create bike and accessories sell-in decks, one-pagers, in-store POP kits, training videos for dealers.
  • Oversee and create copy to support creative assets.
  • Monitor In-Market Performance
  • Track sell-through, PDP conversion, traffic sources; run win/loss analysis of product launches to optimize future rollouts.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement
  • Feed insights back to Product Management for product/tech updates, component swaps, or new model briefs.
  • B2B Support
  • Lead marketing communication strategy with B2B partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer service, to understand needs, bridge product knowledge gaps, and ensure product consistency.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis, presenting insights through reports and presentations to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments during product launches, content, and analytics support for larger product launches or development projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate all consumer-facing materials required for product launches across various departments for the company website and retailers.
  • Work with US and overseas teams to track production sample shipments.
  • Provide support and training for the B2B teams and dealerships.
  • Event planning and support
  • Lead product demonstrations for various channels, including product launches, videos, livestreams, social media, and live demos in trade show settings.
  • Support key product launch activities, community outreach, and branding initiatives as directed by management.
  • Draft proposals for product information roll-out plans and collaborate with the PR team to finalize product PR plans.
  • Provide support in reviewing paid media and advertising creatives, ensuring accuracy in product representation.
  • Coordinate, review, and proof product marketing materials, including manuals and guides, for accuracy, precision, and consistency.
