You’re comfortable moving from research and positioning through to storytelling, launch execution, and optimization . You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with product and marketing partners to bring consumer products to market. You’re focused on driving subscription value and long-term consumer engagement , balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. About this role The Product Marketing Manager, Consumer role sits within Udemy’s Consumer Business Unit , focused on supporting growth and engagement for Udemy’s consumer business. Building on foundational product marketing skills, this role focuses on positioning, go-to-market planning, and execution for our consumer subscription and AI-powered learning experiences. You’ll help shape how consumers discover Udemy, convert into subscriptions, and stay engaged through guided certification and career journeys with clear skill outcomes . You’ll also play a key role in launching and scaling consumer partnerships , working cross-functionally to bring partner-led experiences to market that expand reach, strengthen credibility, and support subscription growth.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in product marketing for consumer or subscription products
  • Experience supporting or leading go-to-market for digital products or platforms
  • Strong ability to translate consumer and market insight into clear positioning and messaging
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfort working with data and performance metrics to inform decisions

Responsibilities

  • Develop positioning and messaging that connects skills gained to real career outcomes for consumers
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for key consumer subscription initiatives, supporting launch, adoption, and engagement of AI-powered learning experiences
  • Launch and scale consumer partnerships that expand reach, strengthen credibility, and improve career outcomes
  • Support initiatives that drive qualified traffic, conversion, engagement, and retention across the consumer funnel
  • Use consumer insight, research, and performance data to inform positioning, campaign strategy, and iteration
  • Create clear, persuasive marketing assets and internal enablement materials to support launches and ongoing adoption
