About The Position

The Meta Horizon Product Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about building and marketing innovative social immersive products and experiences that inspire meaningful human connection, creation and self expression. This position will join a team responsible for driving foundational consumer experiences for Meta Horizon on VR and mobile as part of the Horizon Experiences product marketing team. Our ideal candidate is analytical and creative, and can transition between tactical project work as well as strategic influence with product leaders. This product marketing team is focused on both the inbound phase of product marketing and outbound marketing. Inbound product marketing responsibilities include foundational analysis to identify user needs by segment, opportunity sizing, gathering in depth feedback from internal and external stakeholders, and representing the customer within the product team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, trust management, management consulting, business strategy or a similar field
  • Experience managing a high volume of complex and ambiguous programs, with significant self-direction and structure recommendations
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional teams through influence and driving resolution in the context of competing perspectives
  • Experience structuring and solving problems, and influencing product decisions to move insights to action
  • Experience with consumer research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and go-to-market strategy
  • Experience in presenting to higher-level leadership and cross-functional forums
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent Marketing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree or equivalent in business, marketing, analytics, engineering, or other related quantitative discipline
  • Experience in gaming, consumer tech hardware/software products
  • Experience and domain knowledge in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, wearable devices, mobile devices

Responsibilities

  • Influence and shape product and GTM strategies through the use of data and insights in close collaboration with Research and Data Science, ensuring we’re deepening audience understanding and delivering user value
  • Drive target audience definition, value proposition, messaging development, content creation, and GTM channel activation across audiences to achieve awareness, adoption, and retention goals
  • Develop and execute complex go-to-market strategies in partnership with Communications, Brand, Policy and Legal teams including goals, metrics for success, content development
  • Drive effective product announcements and launch strategies, working side-by-side with leaders in the company, tackling ambiguous risks and problems with a principled approach
  • Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset, and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems
