Requirements

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of direct Product Marketing experience in the Developer tools or DevOps space. Experience with AI coding tools is a plus.
  • SDLC Expertise: A solid grasp of the modern SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies, with a passion for software products and underlying technology.
  • Partner & Channel Proficiency: Demonstrated success in identifying, prioritizing, and engaging with ecosystem players to develop mutually beneficial go-to-market programs.
  • Technical Content Mastery: A proven track record of translating complex technical capabilities into compelling business value through trusted content (blogs, guides, presentations).
  • Sales Enablement Focus: Experience supporting sales teams in a technical B2B environment, with the ability to build and deliver compelling solution demonstrations.
  • Collaboration Skills: A team player with a "can-do" attitude, capable of leading cross-functional projects and building strong relationships with Product Management and Sales.
  • Technical Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful technical talks and engage authentically in discussions with developers.
  • Proficiency with AI: A proactive user of AI tools, adept at using it for experimentation, research, and content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Execute GTM Campaigns & Narrative: Develop product positioning and messaging that articulates Sonar's unique value in the modern SDLC, specifically focusing on campaigns related to developer adoption of AI coding tools.
  • Drive Ecosystem Co-marketing: Define and execute strategic plans for building Sonar's leadership through partnerships with tech partners, channels, and Global System Integrators (GSIs) across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • Create Authoritative Solutions Content: Lead the development of technical content including solution briefs (examples include AI coding, platform engineering), whitepapers, and compelling blog posts that resonate with developers.
  • Coordinate Product Launches: Lead the cross-functional execution of go-to-market plans for new features, ensuring seamless coordination from content development through post-launch analysis.
  • Empower Sales with Technical Tools: Build robust sales enablement materials, including RFP templates, evaluation guides, technical pitch decks, and sophisticated objection-handling guides.
  • Collaborate on Joint Solutions: Work closely with technology partners to develop joint messaging, product-level integrations, and marketing collateral that allow partners to market SonarQube accurately and easily.
  • Create marketing air cover driving customer renewal and expansion: Design and execute structured content for a customer’s first year to ensure they hit critical adoption milestones and are able to realize maximum value in order to justify continued investment.
