INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities) Location: Raleigh Travel: Will be required to travel across the globe to support significant customer presentations, marketing events as well as business reviews from time to time. Travel overhead is expected to be around 20%. Key responsibilities Be the product marketing person responsible for all the products and solutions in the Fleet and C&I verticals globally. In conjunction with the global product teams, develop and implement the product commercialization roadmap for the portfolio. Liaise with key stakeholders to determine key requirements and focus areas and opportunities. Own product positioning and drive benefits-first messaging of relevant, differentiated solutions. Drive the commercial launch of new products and solutions globally by working with global product, global marketing center of excellence, regional commercial and regional field marketing teams to determine launch scope, plan and execution across the portfolio. Manage end of life communications (sales, service, sunset) and transitions. Be the marketing organization's go-to expert on market size, market dynamics, competitor activities, target users and personas, use cases, and customer value propositions for all the products and solutions in the portfolio. Provide sales-enablement support to the sales team to deliver on revenue goals as well as strategize and support on large bids or tenders with regional subject matter experts or solution architects. Be a public-facing representative for your portfolio by: Conducting live demonstrations and presenting your solutions and products when called upon. Being ready to engage both partners and customers directly to solicit their feedback and experiences to enrich the company’s knowledge, and our partners and customers perceptions of the portfolio. Collaborate with the regional field marketing teams to define and execute on. A detailed portfolio campaign plan, including target audiences, product and solution positioning and messaging. Offline and online presence through brochures, websites, PR, lead gen campaigns, expositions, conferences, etc. Building an active, relevant and useable content library to support commercial go-to-market efforts. WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience within large sized companies responsible for setting and executing product marketing strategies. Proven track record of successfully launching products and managing go-to market strategies. Experience working with product development, sales, and customer support teams to align marketing strategies. Experience in creating compelling marketing content, including product descriptions, blogs, and promotional materials. Ability to conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and competitive landscape linked with a strong ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies. Excellent communication abilities with all levels and roles in an organization. Advanced MS Excel skills, proficiency in PowerPoint and Word. Preferred: Global experience in large matrix organizations. Experience in industrial technology companies with a knowledge of IoT and SaaS platforms. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, SEM, and social media
