About The Position

Software development is changing fast. The way code gets written, reviewed, and shipped is being rewritten in real time.
Graphite has recently joined Cursor to define the future of collaborative software development, and we’re looking for a world-class product marketer to lead how that story comes to market.
You’ll lead product marketing at Graphite from the ground up—owning our positioning, narrative, and product launch strategy end to end. You’ll partner with product and design to define how features are positioned, packaged, and launched.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at a fast-moving startup, where you owned or helped build product marketing, ideally in a 0→1 environment.
• Exceptional communicator with strong narrative instincts, clear point of view, and sharp brand taste.
• Experience marketing developer tools or highly technical products, with a proven track record in developer-focused marketing and education.
• High bar for craft and detail, paired with the ability to zoom out on strategy and dive deep on execution when needed.
• Strong product intuition, with the ability to take ideas from concept to shipped work quickly and independently.

Responsibilities

• Evolve our product positioning and narrative as we enter our pivotal next phase of growth.
• Drive product launches end-to-end, from storytelling and messaging to execution across key marketing channels.
• Build the foundations of the product marketing function, launching playbooks, crafting messaging, and owning overall channel strategy.
• Partner closely with product, design, and revenue teams to shape GTM plans for new features and releases.
• Drive messaging and positioning across core marketing surfaces—social, email, launch pages, and campaigns—and ensure it’s clear, consistent, and high quality.
