About The Position

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected graduate students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. The application window is open until March 15, 2026; however, it may close earlier if all available roles are filled. Position Summary This role is part of Samsung's Home Entertainment division, focusing on strengthening the brand's presence and relevance in the gaming ecosystem, including gaming monitors, TVs, and adjacent home electronics categories. The intern will report to the Monitor Product Marketing team and collaborate with marketing, strategy, and sales teams to identify growth opportunities, evaluate competitive positioning, and develop actionable recommendations that elevate Samsung as a top-tier gaming brand among core and emerging gamer segments. This internship is ideal for a candidate with strong strategic thinking, consumer insight, and a passion for gaming, technology, and brand building. The intern will contribute to improving Samsung's gaming brand strategy, analyzing gamer segments, and supporting go-to-market activations to enhance gaming-focused messaging and storytelling.

Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Master's of Business Administration (MBA). Final-year students or recent graduates are strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (PowerPoint & Excel proficiency required).
  • Experience with market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and consumer insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Passion for gaming, esports, or gaming hardware.
  • Understanding of gaming monitors & TVs (e.g., panel type, refresh rates, performance specs).
  • Demonstrated interest in brand building.

Responsibilities

  • Gaming Brand Strategy: Improve Samsung's Gaming Brand Strategy.
  • Assess Samsung's current brand perception in gaming across monitors and TVs versus key competitors.
  • Identify white space opportunities to strengthen Samsung's credibility with core gamers, enthusiasts, and hybrid users.
  • Develop a clear gaming brand positioning framework that can scale across product categories.
  • Marketing & Consumer Insights: Analyze gamer segments (console, PC, casual, competitive) and map their needs to Samsung's product portfolio.
  • Synthesize insights from market data, consumer research, retail feedback, and social & community signals.
  • Go-to-Market Activation: Identify opportunities to improve gaming-focused messaging, merchandising, and storytelling across online and retail channels.
