About The Position

In this role, you’ll define the voice, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Basis and build the connective tissue between product, sales, and the market to accelerate adoption across leading accounting and enterprise finance organizations. You will develop specific product positioning and segmentation for key buyer personas, including executives, accounting firm partners, and CFOs, while partnering closely with sales to craft the narratives, decks, and demo storylines that enable our AEs to win faster. You’ll combine storytelling, research, and sales enablement to create high-leverage content such as case studies, ROI calculators, and product videos that fuel the sales funnel. By owning competitive intelligence and collaborating with product teams to launch new features, you will drive external storytelling and lead thought leadership by publishing the insights and frameworks that define how AI is transforming accounting workflows and making Basis synonymous with the future of the industry.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5–8 years in B2B SaaS or enterprise product marketing (fintech or accounting/ERP experience is a major plus).
  • Storytelling Prowess: A proven ability to simplify complex technical workflows into clear, value-driven propositions.
  • Strategic Execution: The ability to toggle seamlessly between high-level GTM strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Foundational Mindset: Comfort building marketing functions and processes from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: A genuine interest in how AI and technology are reshaping professional work and the future of the accounting industry.
