About The Position

This Product Manager role will support the TV Product Marketing team and will take part in driving the Samsung’s TVs and accessories business. In this role you will have the main responsibility to serve as PMO for TV Product Marketing team, in which you will work closely with Integrated Marketing, sales and SCM teams to help meet the company’s monthly and quarterly targets. Other tasks include: owning administrative tasks/data entries, supporting development of sales + SCM strategies, working with cross-functional teams across the organization (spanning from sales, marketing, PR teams…), and supporting other general operations for the TV PM team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training in Business, Finance, Marketing, Operations or Engineering required.
  • 3~5 years related experience required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and other MS Office Tools
  • Strong analytical skills, able to process multiple data inputs to deliver the required output
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ideally experience working with Sales, SCM, Marketing Teams
  • Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop marketing, pricing, and SCM strategies.
  • Ability to sensibly navigate through internal and external organizations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially intermediate knowledge of Excel and Power Point).
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Knowledge of media production, communication and handling/reviewing of creatives and marketing assets.

Responsibilities

  • Help PM team with weekly, monthly and annual presentation deck such as Weekly SCM slides, QBR review slides, LLP consolidation, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including integrated marketing and PR teams to support coordination of: marketing activities, development of creatives/assets, and policies to promote products and services (via advertisements, press releases, PDPs, and more.)
  • Research and analyze competitor activities to understand business and market share impact.
  • Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
  • Administrative tasks, such as executing contracts with new vendors/distributors, approval submissions, and scheduling meetings/events.
  • Manage day to day priority to help keep PMs on track.
  • Serve as back PM managing ATS (available-to-sell) and Aging inventory process.
