Rockstar is recruiting for a forward-thinking technology company dedicated to enhancing safety and connection in senior living communities. They replace outdated systems with a digital-first approach to ensure every resident is known, protected, and connected, providing clarity for families and staff while keeping human connection at the heart of care. Our Mission: The company is dedicated to ensuring that every person in a senior living community is known, protected, and connected. It replaces outdated paper logs with a digital greeting that fosters safety and a true sense of belonging. The goal is to provide calm clarity for families and staff, ensuring that human connection remains at the heart of care. Our Culture: The company is a service-driven team that uses technology to solve real-world problems. To be successful here, you must align with the six values that define how they work and interact every day: - Compassion: They care deeply about their customers and end users because they are all children and grandchildren. This personal connection drives them to treat every community as if their own family lived there. - Humility: They all "sweep the floors." No task is too small, and they are always willing to serve and do whatever is needed to support the team. - Collaboration: They believe in "singing harmony." They are at their best when they work together, blending their unique strengths to create a better outcome than they could alone. - Customer Focus: They are here to solve problems and leave a lasting legacy. Every decision they make is centered on providing value and building long-term trust with their partners. - Flexibility: They all wear many different hats. They stay agile in their roles to meet the evolving needs of their customers and their growing company. - Growth: They never settle for "good enough." They are lifelong learners who are always working to be better, do better, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Job Overview: The Product Manager is the Strategic Architect and Master Builder of the product ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this role occupies a pivotal position connecting executive vision with engineering execution. While the "North Star" is set by the founders and senior leadership, this role is responsible for the vital work of translating that high-level vision into a cohesive, executable product strategy—and the detailed requirements that power it. This role is not just for a high-level thinker; it is for a practitioner. The individual will synthesize feedback from leadership, market data, and customer insights to define the "What" and the "Why," and will have the technical discipline to document the "How." This role provides the strategic framework and the foundational requirements that empower the Product Owners to drive tactical excellence at the sprint level. Key Focus Areas: - Strategic Translation & Documentation: Partner with the Director of PM to take high-level objectives and translate them into a prioritized roadmap and comprehensive functional requirements. - Requirement Architecture: Own the "Source of Truth" for complex product initiatives, ensuring that business logic is sound and documented before it reaches the development phase. - Market & User Synthesis: Conduct research to validate the direction set by leadership and identify opportunities for innovation. - Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the central hub for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on upcoming initiatives. - Tactical Mentorship: Provide the "high-level scannability" for the product, guiding the Product Owner in breaking down complex epics into actionable user stories.
