We’re looking for a Product Manager – Benefits Administration to help define, build, and deliver the next generation of AptiaOne platform solutions. This role is hands-on and execution focused. You will help define product direction and turn it into shipped capabilities – working closely with Engineering, Product Operations, Data, and Delivery to bring AI enabled, data driven benefits solutions to market. You’ll be responsible for translating real customer and operational needs into scalable platform capabilities that improve: Benefits experiences for employees Tooling and workflows for clients and administrators Insights and decision making for employers and brokers Connectivity across the benefits and partner ecosystem This is an ideal role for a strong product executor who understands benefits administration and thrives in building modern platforms—not just defining vision but delivering outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in benefits administration, HR technology, or health insurance platforms.
  • Proven track record as a hands-on product manager, owning problem definition, requirements, and delivery of production capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of benefits operations and ecosystems, including enrollment, eligibility, carriers, communications, spending accounts, verification, and related services.
  • Demonstrated experience building data driven products, including analytics, reporting, automation, integrations, and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with AI enabled product patterns (e.g., decision support, automation, insights, recommendations), with the ability to translate concepts into usable product features.
  • Experience working in platform or SaaS environments, with an appreciation for scale, configurability, extensibility, and reuse.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Data, Product Operations, Delivery, and Commercial teams to drive outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills—comfortable using data, user behavior, and operational signals to guide priorities and tradeoffs.
  • Clear, pragmatic communication style—able to document requirements, articulate rationale, and lead cross functional discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of next generation Benefits Administration capabilities within the AptiaOne platform—from problem definition through build, launch, and iteration.
  • Act as the product lead for data and AI enabled solutions, defining problems, shaping use cases, and driving measurable outcomes across the platform.
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead AI and data driven use cases that improve benefits experiences, administrative efficiency, decision support, and ecosystem connectivity.
  • Translate product direction into clear requirements, backlogs, and success metrics, partnering closely with Engineering, Data, Product Operations, and Delivery teams.
  • Design solutions grounded in data, including automation, insights, recommendations, and operational intelligence that improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Use product data, user behavior, and operational signals to inform decisions, measure impact, and continuously improve AptiaOne capabilities.
  • Stay closely connected to market, technology, and innovation trends across benefits administration, HR tech, data, and AI—translating relevant insights into practical product improvements.
  • Balance speed, quality, and long-term platform health, making informed tradeoffs to deliver durable, scalable solutions
