About The Position

You will define both product and content direction, driving audience expansion, engagement, and revenue performance. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing or scaling content verticals within large publishing or digital media organizations.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, including on-page, off-page, and technical optimization strategies.
  • Proven ability to analyze performance data, identify growth opportunities, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience owning or contributing to P&L management and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including hiring and managing distributed content teams.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with strong business judgment and analytical skills.
  • Passion for sports, particularly the NFL, with a deep understanding of fan behavior and content trends.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and executing the product and content strategy to grow audience reach, engagement, and monetization.
  • Leading end-to-end vertical setup, collaborating with technology, SEO, editorial, and external data providers to build scalable offerings.
  • Benchmarking product features and content coverage against competitors, identifying actionable improvements to strengthen authority and user experience.
  • Owning P&L responsibilities, driving revenue growth while managing costs and performance metrics.
  • Hiring, mentoring, and managing a global team of writers and editors to deliver high-quality, timely content.
  • Designing and implementing structured content plans aligned with audience trends and business objectives.
