About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager for our Plant Nutrition division. This role is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of our plant nutrition product portfolio. The Product Manager will lead the development, launch, and management of products designed to enhance crop yield, health, and sustainability. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, market insight, and strategic vision to drive the success of our plant nutrition products.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Agronomy, Plant Science, Nutrient Fertility, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in agronomy or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of crop nutrition, soil health, and sustainable agricultural practices.
  • Proven track record of successful product development and management.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and work within our Mission Driven Culture Core Values and Principles.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the plant nutrition portfolio.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Define product positioning, target market segments, and unique selling propositions (USPs).
  • Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including ideation, development, testing, and commercialization.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure product efficacy, safety, and compliance.
  • Manage product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market data, and industry trends to inform product development.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including farmers, agronomists, regulatory bodies, and industry partners, to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, promotional materials, and training programs.
  • Provide product expertise and support to the sales team during customer engagements and events.
  • Monitor product performance against financial targets, including revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for new product development and existing product enhancements.
