About The Position

The Product Manager Intern will support the management of an existing product line or a portion of a product line, including decisions related to offering management, promotion, positioning, price and cost management, forecasting, training, and competitive benchmarking. The Product Manager Intern will support activities across all ORBIS product lines, collaborating cross‑functionally with teams throughout the organization. While the role provides broad exposure to the full portfolio, there will be a primary focus on the Metal Solutions product line. Responsibilities include supporting offering management, promotion, positioning, pricing and cost analysis, forecasting, training, and competitive benchmarking.

Requirements

• Current college student - studying Mechanical Engineering, Packaging, or Industrial Engineering
• Ability to present to customers, internal and external.
• Ability to interact with and lead teams to support the overall company and product line initiatives
• Availability outside of normal business hours.
• Ability to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Work on cost saving initiatives with the operations team.
• Support the sales force with product and market information.
• Aid in the development and introduction of new products to meet current and future customer needs.
• Contribute with product quality complaints from customers.
• Assist with pricing quotes.
• Support for market research, competitive tracking, quoting, and reporting financial data.
• Provide forecasting for assigned product line(s).
• Other duties as assigned.
