About The Position

Metropolis is seeking a Product Manager II to lead initiatives that are foundational to delivering seamless, intelligent, and scalable experiences across our growing network of locations. You will own core parts of our platform that power critical growth drivers of our business - from novel consumer experiences to core infrastructure that ensure smooth operations and deliver values to our operators. We are looking for a systems thinker who can operate across both product strategy and technical execution. You thrive in ambiguous environments, can translate complex operational or technical needs into clear product requirements, and are motivated by solving problems that blend software, hardware, and physical space.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Product Management, specifically within Fintech, ERP implementations, or complex SaaS environments
  • High level of technical precision and an understanding that absolute data accuracy is critical during complex system migrations
  • Deep understanding of Accounting and Finance (General Ledger, AP/AR, Financial Consolidation, and Payroll workflows)
  • Comfortable working with data schemas, ETL processes, and third-party integrations
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale programs or platform migrations
  • Ability to push back on stakeholders when necessary while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships
  • Motivated by scale, complexity, and the thrill of solving problems that directly impact the company's valuation and operational efficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Workday, Oracle Fusion, or SAP S/4HANA migrations

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision for core platform capabilities to ensure a seamless, scalable experience across the Metropolis ecosystem
  • Translate business goals and complex requirements from Finance, HR, and Accounting into prioritized roadmaps and technical specifications
  • Lead product discovery and delivery using data, experimentation, and user feedback to achieve measurable outcomes
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to optimize system health, maintainability, and alignment with long-term architecture
  • Execute the migration strategy for ERP, HCM, and EPM systems, ensuring data integrity and zero downtime for critical operations
  • Ensure financial integrity by meeting rigorous accounting standards, including automated reconciliations and tax compliance
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and eliminate technical debt, moving beyond a simple lift and shift approach
  • Manage end-to-end launches, encompassing everything from QA and testing to rollout and final adoption
  • Support the design and execution of UAT scripts to ensure platforms are Finance-ready for field and internal teams
  • Monitor and drive key performance metrics to improve reliability, scalability, and overall business growth
