Position Purpose: We are seeking a Manager of Product Management who is obsessed with shipping value and great customer experiences. In this role, you will drive the strategy for software solutions that remove friction, accelerate sales, and create delightful experiences for both customers and associates. You must be a master of the feedback loop, seamlessly blending quantitative data and qualitative insights into rigorous OKR frameworks that keep teams aligned and accountable. You will act as the bridge between emerging capabilities and tangible business outcomes, championing the strategic application of Generative and Agentic AI to build smarter software, while empowering your team to leverage these tools to revolutionize their own discovery and design workflows.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management, with at least 2+ years leading and coaching high-performing product teams.
  • Demonstrated fluency in emerging AI technologies, specifically the application of Generative and Agentic AI in product discovery, design workflows, and end-user solutions.
  • Proven track record of "shipping to production,"
  • Expertise in the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework, with a specific ability to translate high-level business goals into measurable product outcomes.
  • Mastery of the "Feedback Loop": Deep experience synthesizing quantitative analytics (e.g., amplitude, SQL, tableau) and qualitative user research to drive iterative strategy shifts.
  • Transformational Leadership: Experience not just managing, but evolving product culture—teaching teams how to move from "feature factory" outputs to outcome-driven problem solving.
  • Elite stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional leadership (Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing) and align diverging priorities toward a shared vision.
  • Experience in "Dual-Track" Agile, balancing the need for rapid discovery/experimentation with stable, high-quality delivery.
  • Talent Developer: A history of attracting top talent and mentoring Product Managers from junior to senior levels, specifically in modern discovery techniques and data literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Looks across product teams and feature sets with a focus on alignment and dependencies
  • Gains a thorough understanding of customer and associate needs, both existing and potential, and uses that knowledge to help deliver enterprise products that provide Home Depot customers and associates with an unparalleled shopping experience
  • Translates business goals and end user needs into product strategy and clearly communicates direction and product priorities to the product team and business partners
  • Meets with users and stakeholders as needed to understand processes, pain points and system waste in order to identify where to improve the user experience
  • Creates epics to drive improvements to product vision, features and back end systems, and adjusts for new business models
  • Determines value to the business of anticipated product updates
  • Identifies goals, metrics and appropriate analytics to measure the performance of products and continually makes recommendations and refinements to products based on learnings
  • Delivery & Execution: Reviews recommended solutions and work of product team to ensure products are aligned with company, stakeholder and end user priorities
  • Documents, reviews and ensures that all quality and change control standards are met
  • Removes roadblocks and obstacles that may impair product teams to help ensure delivery of the product in order to meet strategic, financial and technical goals
  • Receives and prioritizes incoming requests from business partners and stakeholders while keeping in mind the business strategy, product vision and user needs
  • Provides regular updates to leadership regarding progress of products within portfolio
  • People: Provides leadership, mentoring and coaching to Product Managers
  • Attracts, retains and develops top talent to build a world class Product Management Team
  • Conducts annual and mid-year reviews, reviewing individual development plans and providing performance feedback
  • Fosters collaboration with team members (Engineering, UX, etc.) to drive value and identify and resolve impediments
  • Acts as a proponent of modern software development practices
  • Advocates for the end user and stakeholder by becoming associated with the product, empathizing with and understanding user needs
  • Works with the product team to continuously assess progress, disseminate lessons learned and understand next steps
  • Manages cross functional team and stakeholder expectations to execute on product strategy and provides education to requestors to determine prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience
  • Guides more junior team members in strategy, alignment, analysis and execution tasks
  • Participates in and contributes to learning activities around modern software design and development core practices (communities of practice)
