We are seeking a Product Management Advisor to lead the development of roadmaps for solution suites tailored to specific industries. These solutions will encompass reports, user interfaces, applications, predictive attributes, and models developed by the Specialized Risk Solutions Group, utilizing public record and proprietary non-FCRA data. The successful candidate will be responsible for the vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, performance, and lifecycle management of these product suites across the enterprise. This role involves end-to-end responsibility, including Voice of Customer (VOC), ideation, product strategy and innovation, business case development, requirements definition, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, commercialization, and ongoing product health and maintenance. The Advisor will lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment among all stakeholder groups. This is a hybrid position, requiring regular performance of job responsibilities virtually and in-person at an assigned TransUnion office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management and/or industry experience delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Demonstrated skills leveraging market-back product strategies grounded in Voice of Customer Experience defining business requirements and developing roadmaps for data and/or technical solutions in a B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to create compelling and effective communication, cross-functionally and at all levels, for internal and external audiences.
  • Effective analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Prior success leading initiatives with cross-functional teams moving projects forward by tactfully holding stakeholders accountable.
  • Strong collaborator with a problem-solving, design-thinking, and customer-centric mind-set.
  • Exudes accountability, ownership, and a passion about the problems their products solve.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Solid understanding of how data, attributes, analytics, and information services are utilized in identity verification, investigative solutions, and fraud detection and mitigation strongly preferred.
  • Experience in or delivering solutions to the Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Law Enforcement or Investigative services.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of roadmaps for suites of solutions for targeted industries.
  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritization, performance, and lifecycle management of product suites for the enterprise.
  • Have end-to-end responsibility covering VOC, ideation, product strategy/innovation, business cases, requirements and definition, GTM, commercialization, and ongoing product health and maintenance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across all stakeholder groups.
  • Own solution suite vision, business prioritization, and roadmap.
  • Develop business cases and advocate for investment as needed, in close partnership with Lines of Business, GT, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Spend time with clients and industry experts capturing VOC and applying design thinking principles to understand their problems and needs.
  • Work with data science and product development teams defining solution intent and high-level capabilities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, influence PI Objectives and Release content via prioritized features and enablers.
  • Influence feature acceptance criteria & jointly accept as done with Product Team.
  • Act as a thought leader and evangelist for both external and internal audiences.
  • Apply a commercial, user-centric mindset to build robust, market-back GTM strategies that are based on developing targeted needs-based market segments; inform pricing.
  • Ensure the successful roll-out of new products to market & sales teams.
  • Support the development and delivery of comprehensive product training.
  • Monitor and analyze product financials, KPIs, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to identify gaps, weaknesses, and opportunities in any part of product delivery.
  • Manage overall product health including the business prioritization of backlog, ongoing product support, and product sunset strategies.
