From detailed business information and ratings to curated Guides that help people find the best a city has to offer, Places help users navigate the world with confidence and discover new favorites along the way. As our world becomes more connected and people's expectations for personalized, intelligent experiences grow, Maps needs to understand not just where places are, but what makes them meaningful. Apple Maps is ready to meet those challenges and is looking for someone to help build and execute a vision for the future of Places. You'll work closely with Maps leadership to define strategy and partner with key stakeholders across Apple to bring your collective vision to life. You'll balance the needs of consumers, developers, business partners, and data operations teams. You'll think about how privacy-first experiences can help people discover and explore the world around them. And you'll ensure that every place on the map — from major landmarks to neighborhood favorites — is represented with the detail and accuracy people expect from Apple. This is a hands-on role. You'll set the direction and drive execution. You'll think years ahead while shipping features today. And you'll ensure that Places are a cornerstone of what makes Apple Maps exceptional.
